This illustration was created for the nose art of a vietnam era helicopter. I was asked to re-create the artwork on "Super Slick" from a small color slide. The original artwork was hand-painted onto the helicopter hood. For this project I digitally created the graphic and had it printed on a large piece of vinyl (bumper sticker) material. It was then heated and carefully applied to the rounded hood. The artwork, now faded, can be seen on the helicopter atop Freedom Hill at the Perinton Memorial VFW Post 8495.
Information: Illustrated in CorelDRAW and Adobe Photoshop by computer mouse. Printed on vinyl at roughly 42" high x 24" wide.
