DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION - FarScape Cartoons

FarScape was a TV show that aired on the SciFi channel. I became a huge fan of the show. Sadly, the series was cancelled by SciFi. Fans united to create a campaign to bring the show back. The effort resulted in a final mini-series being created to wrap up the story and any loose ends.

I created a series of character illustrations to use for letter writing campaigns and t-shirts for fans. Postcards were created using the main image shown here and mailed to TV networks to try and get our beloved show back on the air. Some of my cartoons have even been used as tattoo's.

The cartoons were created in CorelDRAW. Sometimes the same character would wear different outfits during the show, so I could easily copy the heads onto different bodies to create the numerous looks each character had throughout the series.

I have a few of my cartoons printed and signed by the cast members who played the character.
