I created Technical Illustrations for over 9 years. During that time I developed an effective method of creating high quality artwork in a short period of time. Many of the illsutrations I produced were in the form scalable vector graphics that I drew from photo references. The graphics needed to be detailed enough to accurately represent the products, but also stylized so that time wasn't spent reproducing intricate parts and features that weren't necessary to show in the drawings.
I've created thousands of these types of drawings over the years. Ranging from 1/2 hour to sometimes 6-8 hours in time, these illustrations were used in technical documentation for logistics, service and maintenance, and installation guides.
