I was contacted by BlueFluid to create a logo for their start-up company. They wanted to sell website services and components to their customers and needed a logo for not only their own collateral but also to put on their software.
I was given the direction to "keep it clean and simple". The color was easy enough to nail down. I chose a modern font style and tried various ways of creating contrast between the words blue and fluid. I ended up going with a normal style mixed with an italic style. For added punch, I tilted the logo so that the "f" in fluid divided the name down the center. Liquid droplets for the dot over the "i" completed the project (although the client chose not to use them on the final version).
I also created a website design and banner graphics for the client as well.
