Bridal Photo Shoot

On March 22nd I had the opportunity to participate in a photo shoot (workshop) with some other local photographers. We shot on location at the Monroe County Clerks office with a model in a wedding dress. This gave me the the chance to put my new Canon 6D to the test. I was impressed with how well the camera handled low light situations. All shots were taken with a 24-105mm f4 L lens with natural light and on-camera and off-camera flash. New Gear

I finally took the plunge and updated my gear to full-frame. I found a deal on-line for a Canon 6D with 24-105mm f/4 L kit lens that was too good to pass up. I also purchased a 17-40mm f/4 L lens since that was on sale as well as I quickly realized I missed the ultra-wide angles I was getting with my crop lens (Sigma 10-20mm). The 6D is simply amazing.
