In 2008 and 2009 I took part in the Capture Rochester photography event. Actually calling it an event isn’t entirely accurate. The Rochester D&C set up a website where local photographers could upload images into specific categories that were showcased on the site. Users could then vote on these photographs by simply clicking a “like” or “dislike” button. The images with the most popular votes were then published in the books once voting ended.
