I finally took the plunge and updated my gear to full-frame. I found a deal on-line for a Canon 6D with 24-105mm f/4 L kit lens that was too good to pass up. I also purchased a 17-40mm f/4 L lens since that was on sale as well as I quickly realized I missed the ultra-wide angles I was getting with my crop lens (Sigma 10-20mm).

The 6D is simply amazing. In the short amount of time I have had to work with it, I find the low-light performance to be incredible. My images at high ISO’s show little to no noise. Contrast, color and sharpness has also improved. This is the logical next step for my photography and I’m excited about the images I’ll be capturing with this setup.
